INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING SOLUTIONS

Four Way Pallets for Omnidirectional Warehouse Access

Accelerate truck turnaround times and optimize floor space with pallets designed for 360-degree forklift entry.

Versatile 4-Way Entry Platforms

Unshackle your logistics operations from the linear constraints of two-way pallets by deploying our multi-directional transport solutions. Whether managing a chaotic cross-docking facility or a precision automated storage system, our wooden pallets allow forklifts to engage the load from any side, significantly reducing maneuvering time in tight aisles.
Operational Speed: Drivers can approach the load from any direction, cutting cycle times.

What Are the Two Types of Four-Way Pallets?

Achieving omnidirectional access requires specific structural engineering. The premier option is the “True” 4-way design found in block pallets, where solid wood blocks separate the top and bottom decks, creating open windows on all sides for easy pallet jack insertion.
The more economical alternative involves modifying standard stringer pallets by cutting “notches” into the side beams. While this allows forklifts to lift from the side, the remaining timber above the notch can restrict certain manual jacks, making it a “Partial” 4-way solution best suited for forklift-exclusive environments.
We fabricate both styles using high-density hardwoods or kiln-dried pinewood pallets lumber, ensuring the pallet decking remains rigid regardless of the entry point. For exporters, this flexibility prevents rejection at destination ports where handling equipment may vary.

FAQs Made Simple
If you choose a block design, yes. However, if you choose a notched stringer pallet, you must be careful; some hand pallet jacks cannot enter the notched side because the jack’s wheels may get stuck on the bottom boards.
Technically, removing wood to create the notch does reduce the beam’s bending strength slightly. However, we compensate for this by using higher-grade timber or increasing the stringer dimensions to ensure the dynamic load capacity remains sufficient for your cargo.
Yes, but we recommend block pallets for racking due to their perimeter base which offers better stability on beams compared to skid pallets or typical stringer designs. Always verify the racking load limit before purchase.
If return logistics are not a factor and you need 4-way entry, molded wood fiber pallets are a fantastic option. They are molded, nestable (saving space), and naturally ISPM-15 compliant.
A pallet skid has no bottom deck boards, which makes it easy to enter from any side with a jack, but it lacks the structural stability to be stacked or racked safely. A true 4-way pallet offers both accessibility and stackability.
